Sixth Dimension provided executive consulting support to the PM/CM team for the $688M hospital expansion in Oakland, California. The phased project was the construction of a 78,000 square foot medical office building: a nine-story tower that houses 169 licensed beds and supporting infrastructure. It included the demolition of the existing tower and development of the connecting structure to the existing campus. The tight site constraints and the operational sensitivities of the fully functional hospital made the design and construction process challenging. The project was procured using the design-build method.
