
Construction Management
The Access Barrier Removal (ABR) projects with the State of California, Department of General Services has a total budget of $80 million for State office buildings. The projects are for accessibility improvements and associated infrastructure repair of multiple state buildings in the Sacramento, Bay Area and Los Angeles regions. Work began in the summer of 2015 and will continue over the next five years.
To date, the team has completed the following projects: • Ronald M. George State Office Complex in San Francisco • Ronald Reagan State Building in Los Angeles • Secretary of State Building in Sacramento.
The following project is beginning construction: • Elihu Harris State Office Building in Oakland. Other projects are completing design and beginning the procurement process.
The work for all the projects is carried out in the occupied buildings in multiple phases, including significant off-hour work.
